Lilac Hills Ranch receives unanimous concept
approval from Valley Center Municipal Water District

— June 18, 2013

(Bonsall, CA) The Valley Center Municipal Water District Board of Directors unanimously approved the Lilac Hills Ranch preliminary concept for Water, Water Reclamation and Water Recycling. The final details will be considered in conjunction with the County approvals. The 608-acre, mixed-use, pedestrian-oriented community is located one-half mile from Interstate 15.

“We are working very closely with Accretive and their engineers on the infrastructure requirements for Lilac Hills Ranch,” said Gary Arant, General Manager, Valley Center Municipal Water District. “As a large, complex, phased project, Accretive will be required to make extensive onsite and offsite upgrades to the existing water and wastewater systems which will have some general benefits to service in that part of the District. Additionally, the overall water supply assessment from current condition, to completed project show a net-zero consumption demand for the project.”

Lilac Hills Ranch will continue to conduct ongoing update meetings to keep the public informed of the progress and results of their work to process the application with the County of San Diego.
